General Community Guidelines
Regular Maintenance:
- Home sites must be kept clean, mowed, weeded, mulched, and free of debris.
- Home sites must be maintained as to paint, roof, windows, trim, etc.
- Garage windows must have appropriate coverage, i.e., interior of garage should not be seen from the street.
- No material or debris shall be stored or disposed of on any Edenwilde property.
Trash/Recycle/Yard Waste:
- Trash, Recycle and Yard Waste may only be placed at the street in front of your house for the 24-hour period from 6pm the night before pickup to
6pm the day of pickup.
- Containers must be screened from street view.
- Containers should not be left on the street indefinitely if for some reason the city fails to pick-up as scheduled.
Parking – Cars, Boats, RVs, etc.:
- Homeowner parking should be in the garage or driveway not in the street.
- No parking of trailers, mobile homes or boats with a possible temporary exception of 7 days.
- The Edenwilde Homeowners’ Association assumes no liability for accidents caused by any improperly parked vehicle.
- The City of Roswell has an ordinance that no vehicle shall be parked for over 12 hours. If you see a non-compliant car, please contact the city
referencing Section 22.4.1 - Abandoned Motor Vehicle.
Holiday – Lighting:
- Holiday lights must be in good taste and are limited to display 2 weeks around the major holiday.
o The only exception is during December 1 – January 1
Signs:
- Generally, the only signs allowed include:
o “For Sale” signs, with maximum area of 4 square feet and displayed in front yard of lot; No “sold” signs
o “Garage Sale” signs, only in the front yard of the lot, and only on sale days.
o “Security Company” signs not extending more than 18 inches above the ground, and near the house signs not extending more than 18 inches
above the ground, and near the house.
o “Graduation” signs and other signs honoring students for a period of 3 weeks around the event, and near the house, typically the 2nd, 3rd, and
4th weeks of May.
o “Political Candidate” signs, not more than one, no larger than 4 square feet, displayed no more than 30 days prior to an election and 3 days
after an election. Professional, not homemade. Placed no more than 10 feet from the curb.
o Signs required by legal proceedings.
o “Directional” signs that comply with local ordinances and for safety.
Mulch:
- Mulch must be neutral-colored (black, brown, red) pine straw or wood mulch.
